Introducing the Hiriyt 26″ Electric Mountain Bike. The Hiriyt is a powerful, versatile electric bike with lithium battery and an advanced gear system that allows four speeds for different terrains. It easily converts from hardtail MTB to full suspension MTB and back again, giving you the capability you need at any time. With a removable lithium battery this bike gives you the freedom to use it whenever, wherever.
I was provided with the opportunity to test and review one of the best budget electric bikes I have come across, the Hiriyt 26” Electric Mountain Bike. It’s relatively new brand in the market, but there are a few things that really stand out about it…
Hiriyt 26” Electric Folding Mountain Bike Overview
The Hiriyt 26” Electric Mountain Bike is an e-bike that looks like a regular bicycle. This bike is powered by 36V 250W Frame Li-Ion battery. It also comes with 3 working modes: Eco (assist), Sport (unassisted), or Turbo (unassisted).
The Hiriyt Electric Folding 26” Mountain Bike is a high quality bike, with numerous features for those who want an alternative to conventional mountain bikes. The frame of the Hiriyt 26” Electric Folding Mountain Bike features an aluminum alloy construction and a unique design that allows the bike to be folded in half for portability and storage, making it easy to carry around in a vehicle or apartment. The 26-inch rims with 12G-13G spokes have been designed with durability in mind, while the front & rear disc brakes provide dependable stopping power in all weather conditions & road conditions, which provide better control and prevent accidentally locking up your tires. The gearshift speeds are 21 speed and are fully mechanical while the front Fork Suspension makes driving on uneven surfaces & bumpy terrain easier.
Eco mode can last 25km / 15.5 miles while charging the battery only 4-6 hours. The Turbo mode will reach 50km/31miles, the range will be reduced since this mode is unassisted. Despite the small size, it still can support up to 160lbs. This bike uses aluminum for its frame and fork and carbon steel for its suspension fork.
On top of that, the Suntour XCT 100mm travel suspension offers a smooth ride on any terrain thanks to its 26” Magnesium Alloy wheels with double layer aluminum alloy rim which can be screwed off if you want to replace it with a different rim. The disc brake on each side of the wheels has 180 degree stop so you can stop whenever and wherever you want. I personally love this feature since there aren’t many bikes that offer this type of braking system. Additionally, this electric bike can go up to 25km/15.5 miles on a charge.

Pro’s & Cons

- Smooth, quiet and powerful motor.
- *The Hiriyt Electric Mountain Bike has a 26 inch tires which makes it possible to go over all terrains and terrain, although it is not recommended as this may affect the performance of the bike.
- The disc brakes were a bit sensitive during our test.
- The accelerator pedal has a tendency to lean forward more than we did like, this could be that it was an early model of the bike and these things may be rectified in later models.
